To really get to grips with grammar, clients often spend five minutes each day playing with a grammar app on their mobile phone or other device.

Practice English grammar one and two apps have quizzes and let you know why the answer is correct.

You can download these apps on Apple and Android devices.

Clients also find that it’s really useful to have time to proof read, using their spoken voice or that of their computer (using a program like Text Help or Free Natural Reader).

Many clients also use a process called “Critical Friends”.

When a client has created a document, thought about it, proof read it and then had a little bit more time to reflect, they then send it to a “Critical Friend”.

The choice of individual for this type of friend, is normally someone who is in the same or similar academic or work situation.

The feedback from this critical friend is a great way to understand which grammar topics would benefit from deepening your understanding of.
