Genius With partners with IAA during Covid-19 crisis.
Free session: Thursday 26th March at 5pm
Genius Within CIC has partnered with the IAA to offer a free webchat to parents of children with Neurodiversity who are balancing remote working with home schooling – especially challenging when support children with additional needs.
The IAA have created a Zoom call link, which parents can use https://zoom.us/j/682738732
Questions can be submitted beforehand to Questions@GeniusWithin.co.uk.
The session, which is called Neurodiversity: Adapting to homeschooling during COVID19 will address the changes and challenges of working from home, especially for parents of Neurodiverse children, who now require our attention in helping them cope and learn in a “home school” environment.
The panel of experts will include:
Charlie Eckton, Consultant Psychologist for GeniusWithin CIC (https://www.geniuswithin.co.uk/)
Kit Messenger, Associate at Genius Within and Director of Changing Chances (https://www.changingchances.co.uk/)
Claire Ryan, Chatterpack (https://chatterpack.net/)
The aim of this session is to provide:
- A safe space for parents to share our experiences and concerns
- An understanding of how to help a neurodiverse child AND their parents from a well being perspective
- Practical tips for example visual timetables.
This session has been set up by Kirsty Giordani, IAA UK and Paul Evans, B2B Strategy and Marketing Consultant, who both have personal experience in this area and want to help establish a supportive network within the industry.
