Cognitive Assessments may include a variety of formal assessments of a person’s abilities and skills. Assessments may cover a wide range of areas that might (for example) include an assessment of  IQ or level of intelligence, perceptual abilities, verbal and non-verbal skills, attention and processing or memory abilities.

Workplace needs assessments

A workplace needs assessment makes recommendations for reasonable adjustments to the workplace. This assists the employer to accommodate conditions such as: Dyslexia, DCD/Dyspraxia, ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Condition, Acquired Brain Injury, Chronic Health Conditions and Mental Health Conditions.

Combined assessment is a cognitive and workplace needs assessment delivered on the same day.  It saves time waiting between appointments.  If the cognitive assessment finds no difficulties we will stop there, and make suggestions for referral elsewhere if appropriate.

Inclusion Awareness Training

A 3-hour session for teams and managers 6–15 participants covering:

– How to recognise dyslexia, dyspraxia/DCD, ADHD, dyscalculia and autism spectrum condition at work?
– How do other conditions such as anxiety and depression affect thinking and communication?
– Workplace implications – strengths, struggles
– Strategies for all workplaces

Anyone in the team can come, including neuro diverse employees. Having a whole team on board can provide great follow-on support individual.

We also offer a shorter session as ‘Lunch and Learn’ Awareness Training.

This is a 60-90 minute session, typically delivered over a lunch time to up to 20 people. This is a light touch session, covering different conditions and providing an introduction to neurodiversity and the impacts for workplaces and staff.
