Mental health

What do we mean by mental health issues?

Mild-to-moderate mental health condition such as depression and anxiety affect a person’s mental well-being and can have a big impact on things like self-esteem and motivation, but also affect cognitive skills. This results in a temporary spiky profile, though this may return to a typical profile when the individual recovers. At Genius Within we work with our clients to focus on strengths as well as tackle problems.

It’s Good To Talk

Mental health issues are varied and often co-occur with other neurodiverse conditions. Whilst we talk much more about mental health issues than we used to, there is still a stigma that can make seeking support feel intimidating. We have proven strategies to help our clients move forward with increased confidence. Did you know however, that mental health issues frequently come with skills and abilities such as creativity, empathy and deep detailed thinking?
